Team headshot FAQ
How long does each person need?
For team days most of our clients opt for Signature sessions, which run 5 to 10 minutes of shooting, plus time afterward to sit down and pick your images. Essential sessions for 10 or more people can be as short as 1 to 2 minutes per person. Individual headshot sessions vary widely depending on the needs of each individual.
Do you come to our office, or do we come to you?
Either. We bring the full studio to your Lincoln office for a $250 on-location fee, per photo day rather than per person, or your team comes to the studio.
What if someone misses team photo day?
That’s the Partner Program. Anyone who missed, and anyone hired later, comes to the studio and is photographed to match, on our standard per-person rate and with the same lighting and look.
How fast do we get our images?
Individual headshot session or Signature session images are usually delivered within a week of the shoot, because everyone chooses on the day. Essential images are delivered about a week after everyone has made their selections. That part moves at your team’s pace, and we send the reminders so you don’t have to.
What should I, or my team, wear?
Solid colors and whatever you would wear to meet an important client. Ask us anything before the day and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Can we use the images however we want?
Yes. Use them anywhere, forever, with no licensing fees, no usage restrictions and no expiration.
What does it cost for a team of 10? Of 50?
Use the quote estimator on the homepage for a real number in about ten seconds. The short version: your per-person rate is set by how many people are in a session, not by how many people work at your company.
Can you match our existing headshots?
Yes. If you have a look already established, we can match lighting, background, and crop so new photos sit next to old ones without looking like a different company.
Where is your studio?
We photograph on-site at your Lincoln office, or in our Lincoln studio at Meraki Studio, 440 S 11th St, Suite B, by appointment.
Who’s behind Lincoln Headshot Company?
Lincoln Headshot Company is the Lincoln operation of Omaha Headshot Company, established in 2006. Lane Hickenbottom, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln graduate and former Lincoln Journal Star staff photographer, leads the work. Atira Barnett, a Lincoln resident and Nebraska Wesleyan University graduate, runs the Lincoln operation.
